Bharatiya Janata Party National President, JP Nadda on Saturday took a jibe at the Opposition's INDIA bloc and termed it as a 'Virtual Alliance', which is conducting meetings just for formality, asserting that 'PM Modi has changed the definition of politics.'
Addressing the launch program of 'NaMo Navmatdata' Abhiyan at BJP Headquarters in Delhi, Nadda said that the opposition doesn't have any issues to do politics on. "Today PM Modi has changed the definition of politics and that's why our opposition people are not able to understand what issue to raise. They don't have any issue to do politics on. When Modi ji had said from Red Fort that he would run 'Swachhta Abhiyan', these Congress people laughed. You would be surprised to know that PM Modi has built 12 crore toilets and is still building, which means that 12 crore women have been given the right to live their lives with dignity," he said. "There is an Indian Alliance, its meetings are going on. When I looked, I came to know that the meeting is virtual, because Virtual Alliance will hold virtual meetings only as a mere formality. Modi ji's agenda is to develop India, youth and farmers should move forward, women should get strength, and poverty should end but there are only two agendas of INDI Alliance, first is to save the family and the second is to save the property. You tell me, Farooq is worried about Omar Abdullah, Prakash Singh Badal ji was worried about Sukhbir Singh and Mamta is worried about Abhishek," he added. Further, BJP National president said that approximately 61 per cent of India's population is below 35 years old which is our strength and going to be the medium to complete a Viksit Bharat. "You all are very lucky that today you are living in India where it is moving forward under the leadership of Modi ji with all the facilities. Today we have 22 All India Institute of Medical Sciences with world-class facilities. Whenever someone in your family fell ill, they would have to come to AIIMS Delhi, today we are seeing AIIMS in every state," Nadda said. JP Nadda emphasized that the party has decided that by January 25, they will register 1 crore people under 'NaMo Navmatdata' abhiyan. "On January 25, big screens will be installed at 5000 places and thousands of people will be connected with this campaign. PM Modi will address us all that day. We have decided that by January 25, we have to register 1 crore people for voting. Using your vote in democracy is a big responsibility. When I meet youths, they say that we are not political. But you find politics at every turn of life. Whatever the conditions, you have to be political and you have to understand which is good for you and what is bad for you," he added. He also asserted that the country's exports of medicines have increased by 108 per cent. "18,000 villages didn't have electricity. 2.5 crore people didn't have electricity in their house. We have come from the 11th economy to the 5th largest economy in the world and if we get your support, we will become the 3rd largest economy in 2027," JP Nadda said. (ANI)
