TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday said that there is no possibility of Andhra Pradesh CM Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy returning to power again in his lifetime.

While addressing a public meeting in Tuni, Naidu said, "There is no possibility that Jagan Reddy will win again in his lifetime. East Godavari district is known for its ethics and honesty. After witnessing people like an ocean here, I can say that the politics in the state have changed. This is just the beginning and this will turn into a Tsunami washing out the YSRCP."

"It is a fact that TDP-Janasena will form the government after three months and guide the Telugu Nation towards development. People give an opportunity to leaders to make themselves good and bring light into their lives," he added.

Hitting out at CM Reddy, the TDP chief said, "Jagan Reddy begged people to give him one chance before the elections. But today, he is constantly troubling the people and pushing them into darkness."

"People should unite and defeat Jagan Reddy. People should use their vote as a weapon and teach a lesson to the arrogance of YSRCP. YSRCP's stone age should end and TDP's golden era should return. This fight is not for the power of the TDP and Janasena parties. This is a fight between Jagan Reddy's egoism and arrogance and five crore Andhra Pradesh people," Naidu added.

The TDP chief slammed the Jagan Mohan Reddy-led government for the high price of essential commodities in the state.

"No one's living standards, including farmers, students, workers, women, and journalists, have increased during the Jagan Reddy regime and there is no peace in their lives. The prices of essential commodities have skyrocketed. When I was the Chief Minister the price of petrol was Rs 76 and diesel was Rs 70, but today petrol stands at Rs 112 and diesel stands at Rs 99. This is the highest price in the country. LPG gas cylinder was Rs 726, but today it is Rs 1175," Naidu said.

He also promised to give three gas cylinders for free after coming to power in the state.

"I promise that three gas cylinders will be given for free after TDP comes to power. People, who used to get Rs 200 electricity bills, are now getting Rs 2000 bills, which has increased to five times. Jagan Reddy is playing with the lives of the people. How people will celebrate Sankranti when the prices of everything in the state have sky-rocketed," he added. (ANI)
