The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Minority Morcha plans to light lamps in Delhi's Nizamuddin Aulia Dargah and Jama Masjid ahead of Ram Lalla's consecration ceremony in Ayodhya, party officials said.

The Minority Morcha has plans to light lamps in 36 dargahs and famous mosques across Delhi, including the Jama Masjid, Nizamuddin Dargah and the Qutub Minar, as part of a program to light lamps across the country from January 12 to January 22, party officials said.

"From January 12 to 22, the Minority Morcha will work to raise awareness about the Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha ceremony in the minority society across the country," Jamal Siddiqui, the National President of the Minority Morcha said speaking to ANI.

Siddiqui told that he will be visiting the Nizamuddin Dargah and Jama Masjid area of Delhi to distribute accessories needed to light lamps, among the residents there.

"Maryada Purushottam Ram is the idol of all 140 crore Indians. Hence we are going to spread awareness in areas where the minority community resides to spread peace and harmony among the Muslim people," BJP Morcha convenor Yasir Jilani said speaking to ANI.

Meanwhile, the BJP has announced plans to telecast the grand consecration ceremony of Shri Ram Mandir in Ayodhya live on the booth level across the country.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to attend the consecration ceremony at the Ram Temple on January 22. The event has garnered significant attention, with several VVIP guests from India and abroad receiving invitations to participate in the auspicious occasion in Ayodhya.

According to the Sri Ram Janambhoomi Trust, arrangements will be made for 10,000-15,000 people.

Local authorities are gearing up for the anticipated surge in visitors around the grand ceremony and are in the process of implementing enhanced security measures and making logistical arrangements to ensure a smooth and spiritually enriching experience for all attendees. (ANI)
