A police constable died after his throat got slit by a kite string at Santa Cruz Highway, police said on Sunday.
Police said that the incident occured when the deceased constable Sameer Suresh Jadhav was going home. "Police constable Sameer Suresh Jadhav who was going home after duty, on his bike, died after his throat got slit by a kite string," police said. The deceased constable was taken to a nearby hospital however he was declared brought dead by authorities, police said. Kherwadi Police has registered a case in this regard. Further investigation is underway. (ANI)
