A woman was gored to death by a wild buffalo near Agoratoli range in Assam's Kaziranga National Park on Thursday, officials said.
According to the park authority, the wild buffalo had come out from the park and attacked the woman while she was working in a paddy field. "It's an unfortunate incident. The wild buffalo was outside the park," Sonali Ghosh, Director of Kaziranga National Park told ANI over phone. In October this year, a forest guard on patrolling duty inside the Manas National Park of Assam died after being attacked by a wild buffalo inside the park. (ANI)
