Exuding confidence ahead of the upcoming polls in Rajasthan, Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said that the BJP is set to form government in the state and the possibility of getting a two-thirds majority in a 200-member Assembly cannot be ruled out.

Speaking to ANI, Rajnath Singh said," One thing is sure BJP is forming government in Rajasthan with a clear majority. Also, from what I have experienced in public meetings, our party getting a two-thirds majority cannot be ruled out. We are 100 per cent sure that we will form our government in Rajasthan."

Rajnath Singh further stated that people don't believe the guarantees given by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and Congress.

"The guarantees given by Ashok Gehlot and Congress, people don't believe it. Whatever we mentioned or promised we fulfill everything. We made so many promises like abolishing triple talaq and construction of Ram Mandir and we have completed all of them with full dedication," he said.

The campaigning for the elections in Rajasthan ended on Thursday.

Rajasthan will hold polls for 199 seats on November 25. Elections in the Karanpur constituency were adjourned due to the passing of the Congress candidate Gurmeet Singh Koonar. The results will be announced on December 3.

In the 2018 Assembly polls, the Congress won 99 seats, while the BJP won 73. (ANI)Rajasthan is set for assembly polls on November 25, with votes to be counted on December 3. (ANI)
