Former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Kamal Nath has reacted over contesting election from Chhindwara in the forthcoming state assembly polls saying that he has complete faith in the voters of Chhindwara.

The state will go to polls on November 17 and the counting will take place on December 3. Through the polls, the state will elect legislators from 230 Assembly constituencies.

"I have complete faith in the voters of Chhindwara. They have not just given me votes, but also love and respect for all these years," Nath told ANI.

When asked whether Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister Amit Shah would campaign here, Nath said that they could surround him however they like, they could do rallies wherever they want, but the voters of Chhindwara were very sensible.

Meanwhile, reacting to CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan remark about the Congress party that it has become 'Ticket Badal Congress' from 'Kapda Phaad Congress', the former CM said, "CM Chouhan should worry about his party and not about our party."

Notably slamming the Congress on Wednesday, Shivraj Singh said, "When there was a political tussle related to tickets and people reached Kamal Nath, he said that if you have to tear clothes, then you should tear the clothes of Digvijaya Singh and Jaivardhan Singh, so then it became the Kapda Phad Congress."

"After that, Congress has become 'Ticket Badal Congress'. In many places, candidates given tickets have been replaced. Congress's condition is weird now. Let's see what happens in the future", CM Chouhan added.

Reacting to the announcement of 'Pran Pratishtha' of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, the Congress leader said, "Does the Ram Mandir belong to the BJP? It belongs to everyone in our country. It is a very big symbol of our Sanatana Dharma. I am very happy that the Ram Mandir is finally being built."

Speaking about Enforcement Directorate (ED) Raids at the residence of Rajasthan Congress chief Govind Singh Dotasara, Nath said that they can do whatever they want, voters of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh are sensible. (ANI)
