Four members of a family were injured after being shot by miscreants in Bihar's Muzaffarpur, said the police on Thursday.
The incident took place in the Jajuara village under the Katra Block in Muzaffarpur. "Over a dispute that took place on Tuesday during the Dussehra fair in the village, five bike-borne miscreants barged into the victims' house and opened blatant fire. Four members of the family, identified as Hem Thakur, Moti Devi, Ankit Kumar and Aman Kumar sustained serious injuries and are undergoing treatment at the MKCH hospital in the district," said Abhishek Kumar, Katra Police Station Incharge, while speaking to ANI. "Upon reaching the spot, the police recovered gun shells," Kumar added. Meanwhile, the police are conducting raids at several locations to nab the accused, he said. Further details are awaited. (ANI)
