Avanigadda (Andhra Pradesh) | October 21, 2023 10:15:56 PM IST
The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders and Janasena parties have called Avanigadda bandh in the wake of YSRCP MLA Simhadri Ramesh's attack on Janasena workers who were protesting peacefully a day ago. The Police was deployed in large number in order to maintain tranquillity in the region.

The Janasena party workers also blamed YSRCP MLA Kethireddy behind the attack.

Condemning the attack on party leaders, TDP and Janasena announced the Avanigadda bandh. The police held a parade in the streets of Avanigadda with a Vajra vehicle and appealed to the traders to open the shops and said that the Bandh was not allowed. The police stopped the main leaders of TDP and Janasena in Avanigadda from coming out of their houses.

In the wake of MLA's attack on Janasena workers, police made heavy security arrangements at MLA Simhadri Ramesh's house and set up pickets on the four sides of Avanigadda to prevent large numbers of Janasena activists from coming to Avanigadda.

Jana Sena leader Gudivaka Seshubabu was house arrested. (ANI)
