Himachal: Anti Narcotics Task Force held two with 1.290kg charas from Sirmaur district

The Anti Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) of the Himachal Police has arrested two accused with 1.290kg of charas from the Paonta Sahib area in the Sirmaur district, police said.

The duo were identified as 30-year-old Gopal Singh and 44-year-old Kamal Singh, police said, adding a vehicle was also seized from the accused.

An FIR under the NDPS (Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) Act has been registered against the accused in the Paonta Sahib Police Station, they said.

The Anti Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) was constituted by the state police to curb the drug menace in the state. The ANTF has three field units at Kangra, Kullu and Shimla in the state. (ANI)
