The Mutation Adalat will be organised across Himachal Pradesh on October 30, said Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu while presiding over meeting of administrative secretaries on Monday.

The CM also directed the officials to accelerate the mutation process and settle the pending cases of mutation attestation, besides reporting the same to the government, according to a press release by the Chief Minister's office.

"There are more than 22 thousand such cases lying pending. The Mutation Adalat will be organised throughout the state on October 30 in all the Tehsils, Sub-tehsils and Bandobast (settlement) circles to settle down the pending attestation of mutation cases, which will provide much needed relief to the people. Delay in the mutation process causes many problems to the people and affects the progress of development works as well," said the Chief Minister.

Working with the motto of Vyavshtha Parivarta, the state government is committed to providing transparent and sensitive administration, he said, and he directed the officials to successfully organise the Mutation Adalat.

The Chief Minister said, "New courses would be started in industrial training institutes from the next academic session based on new technology such as artificial intelligence (AI) and other job-oriented fields."

"The state government is keen to make educational courses more qualitative and viable so as to increase the ability of the youth to compete at the global level, as well as create employment and self-employment opportunities," he added.

"He instructed the officials to complete the entire process of application related to Section 118 of the Himachal Tenancy and Land Reforms Act, 1972, through an online medium only. This would make the work time bound and also ensure efficiency," as per the release.

While speaking on the 'Green and Clean' energy initiatives, the Chief Minister said, "A fleet of 1500 buses of the Himachal Road Transport Corporation will be replaced with electric vehicles in a phased manner, and he instructed the officials to take the necessary steps in this regard."

"Instructions were also given to select the site for setting up the U.V. filtration unit. He said that the use of bleaching powder for water treatment in the state would be stopped in a phased manner," the release stated.

As per the release, Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena, Principal Secretary Revenue Omkar Chand Sharma, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Bharat Khera, Principal Secretary Finance Manish Garg, Secretaries of various departments, and OSD to the Chief Minister Gopal Sharma were also present in the meeting.
