TDP spokesperson Kommareddy Pattabhi on Thursday hit back at Andhra Pradesh government advisor, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, over her claim of a lack of evidence to support the party's assertion that former chief minister N Chandraabu Naidu is innocent of the charges in the skill development 'scam' case.

The TDP spokesperson said he had been providing evidence from "the very first day" to back their claims of Naidu's innocence in the case.

He added that the party has also launched a website to bring more facts on the case in the public domain.

TDP chief and former CM, Naidu, was arrested earlier in connection with the case and is currently in judicial custody.

Speaking to ANI on Thursday, Pattabhi said, "From the very first day, we have been holding press meets claiming his (Naidu's) innocence in the case. We have also launched a website to bring facts around the skill development scam in the public domain. I can only assume that Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy isn't aware of the website. He doesn't know how to operate a computer or check a website."

"Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy is shamelessly claiming at press meets that the TDP doesn't have any evidence to support its claims of our leader Chandrababu Naidu's innocence in the skill development (scam) case. I am sending him an open invite to visit our office and check out all the evidence we have if doesn't know how to check the same on our website. They don't have any answers to our questions concerning the case. Over the last one month, we have placed all the evidence in the public domain," he told ANI.

Describing the ongoing custody of the former Andhra CM as 'inhumane', the TDP spokesperson added, "The CID has alleged that Chandrababu is also involved in the fiber grid scam and has moved court for his custody. This is inhumane. Chandrababu Naidu is a visionary leader, who completed the fiber grid project at a price significantly less than what it cost in other states."

Naidu filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking the dismissal of the case registered by the CID.

After hearing the arguments on Tuesday, the SC adjourned the hearing in the matter to October 13. (ANI)
