In a big blow to trans-border narcotic network, in an intelligence-led operation, CI (counter-intelligence) Ferozepur, recovered 12 kgs of heroin and apprehended 2 people.
FIR under NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act) has been resigtered and an investigation is ongoing to establish backward and forward links, as per the information by the Punjab police.
