Union Minister and Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party (RLJP) Pasupati Kumar Paras on Sunday paid tribute to former Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) Chief Ram Vilas Paswan on the occasion of his death anniversary in Bihar's Patna.

Along with Paras, Bihar RLJP State President Prince Raj was also present.

Earlier today, present LJP Chief and Ram Vilas Paswan's son, Chirag Paswan also paid tribute to his father.

Taking to 'X', Paswan wrote, "Papa! salute to you. Miss you papa".

Also, Paswan earlier in the day visited Bihar's Khagaria district, the birthplace of Ram Vilas Paswan, and paid tribute to him.

"Today, on Papa's death anniversary, paid tribute to his statue along with the family and took blessings in the Saharbanni area of Bihar's Khagaria district", he wrote in an 'X' post.

Ram Vilas Paswan, the founder and former LJP Chief, was nine-time Lok Sabha member and two-time Rajya Sabha MP.

He was also awarded the Padma Bhushan, post his demise.

It is worth mentioning that in 2021, after the demise of Ram Vilas Paswan, the LJP factioned into two parties owing to conflicts, LJP, headed by son Chirag Paswan, and RLJP, with Pasupati Kumar Paras as the president.(ANI)
