Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached Shri Badrinath Dham on Saturday evening and visited the Mana Pass, India, and Tibet border and encouraged the soldiers deployed there.

Shri Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC) President Ajendra Ajay said that CM Yogi Adityanath will attend the Shayan Aarti of Lord Badrivishal in the evening.

The Chief Minister also inspected the state guest house where he interacted with the workers and inquired about their well-being.

Yogi Adityanath is on a three-day tour of Uttarakhand from Friday.

On his first day of the visit, BJP state officials gave a grand welcome to Chief Minister Yogi at the GTC helipad in Dehradun. After reaching the GTC helipad, he went straight to the safe house.

According to the fixed schedule, CM Yogi, after darshan and worship at Kedarnath Dham on Saturday, will rest at Rudraprayag for the night.

The UP CM will reach Grant Airport, Dehradun at 1 p.m., from where he will leave for Lucknow.

Meanwhile, he also paid a visit to his Uttarakhand counterpart, Pushkar Singh Dhami.

The Chardham Yatra in Uttarakhand is one of India's most popular Hindu pilgrimages. This pilgrimage is a tour of four holy sites - Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri, and Yamunotri - nestled high up in the Himalayas. (ANI)
