During the Amrit Kalash Yatra, soil was collected from the bordering villages of Lyngkhat, Pyrdwah, Umsyiem, Dawki, Kongwang etc., in the East Khasi Hills and West Jaintia Hills districts. A large number of villagers enthusiastically participated in the event, displaying their patriotic fervour, the statement said. (ANI)
