United Hindu Front working president and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Jai Bhagwan Goyal on Sunday slammed Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and asked him to break up a part of Canada to form a new Khalistan country if he supported the "anti-India Khalistanis."

"If the Prime Minister of Canada loves Khalistanis so much, then why doesn't he break up a part of Canada and create a new Khalistan country? We will be the first to give him recognition," said Jai Bhagwan Goyal.

This comes amid worsening bilateral ties with New Delhi in the wake of Prime Minister Justin Trudeaus allegation of Indian involvement in the killing of Sikh separatist leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar.

The United Hindu Front on Sunday held a protest against Justin Trudeau at Delhi's Jantar Mantar, where they expressed their disapproval against the Canadian Prime Minister's alleged support and protection of anti-India Khalistanis.

They said that there are many cases like, farmer's protests, when Canada has gone against India and supported the Khalistanis, and interfered in the internal affairs of India.

"During the G20, India's flag flew high across the world, so Trudeau feels sad over India's G20 success. This is not the first time that Canada has interfered in our internal affairs, even before this there were farmer protests. There are many cases in which Canada has gone against India and supported the Khalistanis, and has interfered in our internal affairs," said Jai Bhagwan Goyal.

"India has many times handed over the list of terrorists to Canada, but instead of taking action against them and handing them over to India, Canada has always been supporting those terrorists, they are openly threatening Hindus in Canada, asking them to leave Canada. But the government there is sitting idle. The Canadian government is also misbehaving with our diplomats and other officials," he added.

Goyal said that a memorandum outlining their demands was submitted to Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and the External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar.

"Today we are also going to the Canadian Embassy to submit a memorandum, along with this we will also send a letter through the mail to the Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau regarding our protest, along with this we have informed the Prime Minister of our country, Home Minister and Foreign Minister."
