The grievance redressal system of Haryana Real Estate Regulatory Authority, Gurugram (HARERA) will go hi-tech and digital soon.

For this, HARERA Gurugram on Thursday signed an MoU with Jupitis Justice Technologies Pvt Ltd. With this MoU, HARERA has moved towards becoming the first digital RERA court across India, officials said.

The officials said that with this facility, the dispute resolution mechanism will be available to all the stakeholders through online mode from their homes or offices.

Explaining the benefits of the project, K.K. Khandelwal, Chairman, HARERA Gurugram, said that a special Digital HARERA Court will be created by the company using technology and artificial intelligence so that people can get justice delivered quickly, safely and transparently.

"Right now, this technology is being adopted as an experiment. Keeping in view the convenience of the people, digital courts will be promoted by HERERA so that the resolution of disputes can be effective. With this facility, people will get the facility of filing their complaints on a single platform till the decision is taken through a digital medium. This will be a fully automatic process," he said.

"With this fully-developed technology, consumers will no longer need to visit HARERA office for their case proceedings, as they will be able to easily see the possible resolution of their disputes from anywhere, anytime and from any device," he said.
