Actor Nimrat Kaur has opened up about her experience working with Amitabh Bachchan, recalling how the legendary actors approachable nature, openness and ease on set left a lasting impression on her.
In an interview with ANI, Nimrat spoke about her first day working with Bachchan and said she wanted to remember the moment because of his stature and legacy in Hindi cinema. I just recall that I was telling myself that just never forget this first day of this film because it's not going to come again. Because the first day of a film you've done for the first time with an actor of his stature and just the enigma that he is, I'll never forget that, she said. Reflecting on Big Bs presence, Nimrat added, This is like literally Hindi cinema, history, present, everything just walking in front of you. However, she said the experience of actually working with him was far more comfortable than she might have expected. Once you get over the idea of someone as large a personality as Mr. Bachchan being on set you so quickly see how easy and how comfortable he is actually and how happy he is to be interacting with new people, new talent and that was such a big life lesson, Nimrat said. She also recalled how open Bachchan was to people on set, regardless of their role or experience. And that was just so inspiring because he could make so many different choices as an actor and as a personality to be on set and be completely unapproachable or absolutely not he was just so easy to be around, she said. Nimrat further described the veteran actor as so open and so childlike and so easy, saying his approach made everyone around him feel comfortable. Nimrat has reportedly worked on the upcoming courtroom drama thriller 'Section 84', directed by Ribhu Dasgupta. The film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nimrat Kaur, Diana Penty and Abhishek Banerjee in lead roles. Its official release date has not yet been announced. 'Section 84' marks Bachchan and Dasguptas third collaboration after the 2014 TV mini-series 'Yudh' and the 2015 thriller 'Te3n'. Meanwhile, Nimrat was last seen in 'The Family Man 3', featuring Manoj Bajpayee and Jaideep Ahlawat. Created by Raj and DK, the series follows Manoj Bajpayees Srikant Tiwari, a middle-class man leading a double life as an intelligence officer for the Threat Analysis and Surveillance Cell (TASC), a fictional division of the National Investigation Agency.
