Aamir Khan's ex-wife Kiran Rao shared an emotional note, remembering her beloved cat Miri, who recently passed away.
Rao also shared a picture of her cat on social media, while videos of their 14-year-old son Azad in tears have surfaced online. "Miri Cat left us to yesterday to bask in eternal sunshine and have an endless supply of birds and critters to chase. She was one hella cool cat. Named for her peppery coat, Miri was a consummate hunter who liked to drink from nice glasses, and used the elevator to travel up and down in the building," read her Instagram post. Kiran also recalled how Miri enjoyed spending time with the family and described her as the "queen" of the house. "She had the softest-ever coat, and generously collected her hafta of scratches and brushing from all of us and anyone who passed through the house. And what she loved doing most was lying around in dappled sunlight, stretched out like the queen that she was... She has our hearts forever," she added. Aamir and Kiran were married in 2005 and announced their separation in 2021. The couple has a son, Azad. Aamir was earlier married to Reena Dutta, with whom he has two children, Junaid Khan and Ira Khan.
