"Saving it for my book" : Adam Driver reacts to Lena Dunham's "feral" outburst claims from 'Girls' set

Actor Adam Driver has reacted to allegations made by Lena Dunham in her memoir 'Famesick', in which she described the actor as "sometimes feral" during the filming of the hit series Girls, according to E! News.

Speaking during the Cannes press conference for his upcoming film Paper Tiger, Driver gave a brief but witty response to the controversy.

"I have no comment on any of that," Driver said, according to Variety. "I'm saving it all for my book."

His remark reportedly drew laughter from the room.

In her memoir, Dunham recalled a tense moment while the two were rehearsing lines for the HBO series, in which they played Hannah Horvath and Adam Sackler.

"Adam screamed, ".....and hurled a chair at the wall next to me," Dunham wrote.

Dunham said she was dealing with dissociation linked to her then-undiagnosed endometriosis during that period, as per the outlet.

The actress-filmmaker also reflected on filming intimate scenes with Driver, alleging that the "careful blocking" prepared for the scenes "went out the window" once filming started.

She claimed Driver, while in character, would "hurl me this way and that" during the sequences.

"Part of me was afraid that when I turned around, I would find I was suddenly in a full-penetration 1970s porno," Dunham wrote, adding that she eventually called cut after "a few mimed thrusts," according to E! News.

Dunham further revealed that although Driver had told her he would "always love" her when the show concluded in 2017, she "never heard from him again."

Despite the allegations in the memoir, Driver had earlier spoken positively about working with Dunham.

In a 2017 interview with Larry King, the actor praised Dunham's creative process and work environment on the series.

"I love it," Driver had said. "She's very specific in her writing and she's very open with creating a space for everyone to try anything they want to."

"It really is the best kind of, great, working environment," he added, according to E! News. (ANI)
