Hollywood actor Nicole Kidman seems to have made her first comments following her split from Keith Urban.
The 'Aquaman' star filed for divorce from the country music star in September 2025 after a 19-year marriage. Speaking to Variety, Nicole Kidman shared that she was doing "all right", explaining how her personal issues forced her into a retreat. "Last year, I was quiet. I had other things going on. I was in my shell. I'm always going to be moving toward what's good. What I'm grateful for is my family and keeping them as is and moving forward. That's that. Everything else I don't discuss out of respect," she said, as quoted by Variety. Kidman went on to share that they will remain a family. "I'm staying in a place of 'We are a family,' and that's what we'll continue to be. My beautiful girls, my darlings, who are suddenly women," she added. Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, the former power couple went their separate ways over the last summer. They are parents to daughters Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret. "Sometimes relationships just run their course," a source told Page Six at the time, though Kidman allegedly "did not want the separation and was trying to save things" prior to the split. Kidman and the country hitmaker had been living apart since the start of the summer 2025. As per a news report in People, Kidman and Urban agreed to waive all child and spousal support rights, with each being responsible for their own legal fees and expenses. On the work front, Nicole Kidman has back-to-back releases in 2026, including the long-awaited 'Scarpetta', a supporting role in Osgood Perkins' 'Young People', and the third season of Taylor Sheridan's 'Lioness'.
