The first look of John Cena's upcoming action film 'Matchbox: The Movie' is out, and it shows the actor on the run with his old gang back together.
Apple TV+ on Tuesday, unveiled the first look images from the action-adventure comedy along with the global release date. The announcement was made during TV+'s press event in Santa Monica, according to The Hollywood Reporter. 'Matchbox: The Movie' is based on the famous Mattel toy line. The film is an action-adventure story about a group of friends who have known each other since childhood. Their simple lives soon change when their old leader, Sean, suddenly returns. Sean is played by John Cena and is now working as an undercover CIA agent. When he comes back to his small town, he pulls his friends into a fast and dangerous journey across countries. The script is written by David Coggeshall. The film is produced by Skydance Media and Mattel Films and is an Apple Original movie.
