Good news arrived early for Snoop Dogg's daughter, Cori Broadus, who has announced that she gave birth to her first child three months before her due date.
On Friday, Broadus took to her Instagram account to share the news and revealed that she and her fiance, Wayne Deuce, had welcomed their first child together. Broadus shared a black-and-white picture of her newborn along with a caption that read, "The princess arrived at 6 months." "I've cried and cried, I've compared and compared, blaming myself because I wasn't able to give her all that she needed. But no matter what, God always shows me that He got me! Baby girl came at 25 weeks today and she's the best!! Sharing a picture of her lying on the operating table, Broadus wrote, "1st c-section was a success :) s/o to the man up above." In her second story, she wrote about how she initially went to the doctor thinking she had a "bad case of gas." However, doctors diagnosed her with "HELLP SYNDROME," a serious pregnancy complication that can be life-threatening. "Got to the doctors yesterday thinking I just had a bad case of gas... whole time I was developing 'HELLP SYNDROME,' which is very severe and can even cause death if untreated... doctors told me thank you for coming, and if I would've waited a few more days, it would've been really bad. Ladies, please listen to your bodies and don't believe everything you see on TIK TOK (talking to myself lowkey)." Her fiance and mother, Shante Broadus, reposted her announcement on their Instagram Stories. Shante also left a cute comment on Cori's post, calling her "My Berri." Broadus is Snoop Dogg and Shante's youngest child. They also share sons Corde, 30, and Cordell, 28. Snoop Dogg has another son, Julian, 26, from a previous relationship. Her daughter is Snoop Dogg's eighth grandchild. The rapper, who has always spoken fondly of being a grandfather, once said, "My grandkids are my everything because they all individually get a piece of my heart and they're different," according to People.
