Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has wished his "friend and brother," Bhutan's King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, on his birthday.

The 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' actor took to his Instagram account to share a picture of the Bhutanese King along with a birthday wish, where he also expressed his excitement about visiting Bhutan soon.

His caption read, "Wishing His Majesty the Druk Gyalpo of Bhutan, King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, my friend and brother, a very happy birthday! May your special day be filled with joy and surrounded by the love of your people. I look forward to visiting soon."

The film is directed by A.R. Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. It marks Salman Khan's reunion with Sajid after their 2014 blockbuster, 'Kick.' It also marks his return to the big screen after more than a year, with his last film being 'Tiger 3.' 'Sikandar' is slated for release on Eid this year. In the coming months, Salman will also appear in 'Kick 2.' (ANI)
