Actor Ryan Reynolds shared a post about missing the late actor John Candy, who died in March 1994 at the age of 43, reported People.

He shared a post about missing the late actor that was originally posted on Instagram by comedian Mathias Nastos.

"Sometimes outta nowhere...I'll think of this guy and miss the living hell out of him," a comment read in capital letters across a photo of Candy, who died at the age of 43 in 1994.

Reynolds shared the post on his Instagram Stories alongside the instrumentals of the song "Power to Believe'' by The Dream Academy, which featured in the soundtrack of Candy's 1987 film Plane Trains and Automobiles with Steve Martin, 78.

"Retro Rewind 80s: The Candy Man Can," the caption of the Instagram post added. " Although guys like Bill Murray, Eddie Murphy, Chevy Chase, and Dan Aykroyd tend to get most of the recognition for their 80s comedies, John Candy was easily one of the funniest men in the movies."

"The man had perfect comedic timing on screen, charisma that was second to none, and the ability to make every film better with even the smallest of cameos," the post continued.

"Lost a comedy genius and a great man," the caption added. "It was, of course, even sadder that his final time was in the box office flop, Wagons East."

Earlier this year marked the 30th anniversary of the death of Candy, who died of a heart attack in his sleep.

"John's comedy lives on, but my memory of him has the words 'kindness' and 'sweetness' in the headlines," Planes, Trains and Automobiles costar Martin told in an interview.

Meanwhile, ahead of Reynold's post about Candy, the Deadpool star revealed that he had just watched the movie The Fall Guy, starring Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt.

"Finally saw @thefallguymovie on the big screen and it did not disappoint," Reynolds wrote on his Instagram Stories. "A beautiful love letter to the stunt community, but also a damn joyball start to finish," reported People. (ANI)
