It's been a year since Sonakshi Sinha made her debut on OTT world with 'Dahaad' series, and to date, she is being hailed for her terrific performance as a cop.
As 'Dahaad' marked its one-year anniversary today, Tiger Baby and Excel Entertainment, the masterminds behind the show, treated fans to a delightful glimpse behind the scenes. Created by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti, 'Dahaad' revolves around a police officer, Anjali Bhaati (Sonakshi Sinha), who investigates a series of deaths where women are found dead in public bathrooms. However, she soon realises that there's a serial killer on the loose. Meanwhile, Sonakshi is also being lauded for her role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's web series 'Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar'. Set against the backdrop of the Indian freedom struggle of the 1940s, 'Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar' promises to be an epic saga of love, power, revenge, and freedom. Through the stories of courtesans and their patrons, the series delves deep into the cultural reality of Heeramandi. 'Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar' is streaming on Netflix.
