Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) [India], April 1: Hasthkala, a Chhattisgarh-based artisan collective dedicated to promoting traditional crafts and supporting tribal artisans across India, has won a corporate gifting mandate from BharathCloud, a sovereign AI cloud services provider, which will bring handcrafted products created by tribal artisans into the corporate gifting ecosystem. This collaboration will help create steady employment opportunities for artisan communities while giving them new market access for the handmade crafts they produce.

Through this initiative, Hasthkala will create curated solutions for corporate gifting generated by over 250 tribal artisans located throughout India. The collection will contain decor items, artwork, and artisan hampers that have been inspired by regional arts from states including Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Madhya Pradesh. By linking these traditional crafts to corporate purchasers, the initiative will ensure that artisans are compensated in a sustainable manner and that the cultural heritage of artisans will continue to be celebrated and preserved.

The partnership strengthens Hasthkala's ongoing mission of supporting rural and tribal artisans by providing them with continuous market opportunities beyond traditional craft markets. By enabling organisations to incorporate handcrafted products into their corporate gifting practices, Hasthkala is creating a platform where traditional craftsmanship can thrive in modern business ecosystems.

Shambhavi Pandey, Founder of Hasthkala, said, "Our collaboration with BharathCloud helps bring traditional Indian crafts to a wider corporate audience while creating sustainable income opportunities for tribal artisans. By connecting handcrafted products with responsible corporate gifting, we aim to preserve heritage art forms and empower the communities that keep these traditions alive."

"We chose Hasthkala not just for gifting, but because we value collaborating with organisations that give life to communities and preserve Indian heritage," said Rahul Takkallapally, Co-Founder of BharathCloud. "At BharathCloud, we believe technology-led companies have a responsibility to create meaningful social impact. This partnership also allows us to support sustainable livelihoods for tribal communities while bringing handcrafted stories from across the country to our clients and partners."

The products created by Hasthkala are environmentally sustainable and created using eco-friendly production methods. As organisations increasingly prioritise ethical sourcing and sustainability, initiatives like this demonstrate how corporate partnerships can contribute to both cultural preservation and community development.
