Greater Noida (Uttar Pradesh) [India], October 26: Shiv Nadar University, India's youngest Institution of Eminence (IoE), announces the launch of its year-long engagement program with schools. As part of this pioneering initiative, Shiv Nadar University is leveraging the Young Thinkers Forum (YTF) to nurture intellectual curiosity among school children. YTF's innovative array of programs, including Summer School, Winter School, Spring School, and Masterclasses, are designed to expand the horizons of young minds and fuel their passion for learning. Over the past two years, students from more than 50 schools across 15 states have participated in these transformative programs.

Articulating the institution's vision for these programs, Dr Ananya Mukherjee, Vice-Chancellor of Shiv Nadar University, says, "Through our unique programs, school students have an ideal opportunity to engage directly with our university's faculty and distinguished experts in their respective fields. These accomplished mentors offer invaluable guidance to the students and encourage them to dream and ambitiously pursue their passions. Through our year-long educational outreach initiatives, we aim to ignite the spark of curiosity and a passion for learning among school children."

One of the flagship programs within the Young Thinkers Forum is the "Weekend Program", where students gather at the university to explore knowledge across disciplines. This immersive experience is designed to ignite creativity, foster critical thinking, and promote collaboration, enabling students to stay on campus and participate in a theme-based journey over an entire weekend.

Vinnie Mathur, Chair of the Young Thinkers Forum says, "All our initiatives foster a dynamic learning environment where collaboration and teamwork are highly encouraged. Students form teams and collaborate on interdisciplinary projects that transcend different themes, honing their problem-solving skills and cultivating a holistic understanding of the interconnectedness of various subjects."

In addition to the Weekend Program, the university offers week-long residential programs through its Summer, Winter, and Spring Schools. These programs are open to students from Class 8 to 12. They provide a unique opportunity to interact with faculty members and experience university life.

For those seeking a monthly dose of inspiration, the university conducts the "Masterclass" - a free online program held once a month for school students.

Another remarkable inclusion in the university's offerings is the Shiv Nadar Internship Program (SNIP), attracting students from across the country. This program, catering to Class 11 and 12, enables them to gain firsthand experience in a professional setting, aiding in their future career decisions.

Shiv Nadar University's dedication in shaping the leaders of tomorrow through these innovative programs underscores its commitment to excellence in education and its mission to ignite the passion for learning in every young mind it touches.
