The event, held at Chandigarh, was attended by Chief Guest J P Dalal, Minister of Agriculture, Haryana, and Guest of Honour Vijayendra Kumar, Additional Chief Secretary, Agriculture, Govt of Haryana with senior officials from Multiple states including Rajasthan, Goa, Assam, Telangana and many more. During the event, representatives of AVPL shared insights and knowledge about the latest trends in drone education. AVPL emphasized the opportunity for rural and semi-urban youth to become drone pilots, offering an exciting opportunity for employment and innovation in the agricultural sector. AVPL recently launched a one-year drone training course in collaboration with 13 partner universities and has a shorter drone pilot training course at its subsidiary, SPH Aviation, Gurugram. Looking ahead, AVPL plans to start 100 training centers in India in the next 2-3 years, further promoting the use of drones in agriculture and expanding their impact in the sector.
