Koochie Play systems, an exclusive manufacturer of outdoor playground, fitness equipment and safety flooring, launched its operations in Thailand. The launch marks the 15th international office for the company, which has operations in 9 countries across the world.

Koochie Thai, which marks the company’s entry into Thailand, will be headed by Mr. Sam Sheriff as the Managing Director of the Thai entity.

Koochie Play was established in 2006 in Bangalore, India, by entrepreneur Roben Dass, with a mission to offer playground equipment that meets highest international standards in terms of quality, aesthetics, product life design, planning, execution and most importantly, child safety. In less than 5 years, the company had earned distinctive safety certifications in France & Australia and had set up operations in more than 9 countries. Has to be consistent -

Koochie Play is one of the few companies to be awarded the prestigious EN 1176 certification [the highest safety certification given to playground equipments in Europe] and the AS 4685 &NZS 4486 [Australia & New Zealand's safety certifications]. Koochie has also recently joined the elite group of companies that have received the latest DIN 79000-2012 certification for its outdoor fitness range of products.

Thailand, a popular tourist destination, has been moving towards more family-friendly tourist attractions in the past few months. There are more parks, residential complexes, resorts and hotels being built, with a focus on special playgrounds for children, which translate to an immense opportunity for Koochie Play for its outdoor playground systems and fitness equipment systems.

Koochie Thai intends to be in almost every new school, resort and condominium in Thailand. The company intends to work with the municipals, towns and cities to set up playgrounds for children alongside outdoor exercise machines in every park possible.

In the next 5 years, Koochie Thai intends to spread its operations across Bangkok, Phuket, Pattaya, Chiang Mai and the northeastern parts of Thailand, while continuing to build its reputation of the world’s best manufacturer of outdoor playground & fitness equipment.

Koochie Play Systems is also present in India [being the only brand to have its own infrastructure in Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad, Ahmadabad & Pune], United Arab Emirates, Morocco, France, Australia, Philippines, Lebanon, Hong Kong and Philippines.

All components used in Koochie Play Systems are manufactured in the state of art OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) facilities in Korea, Taiwan and China under strict quality control measures backed with the latest technology such as robotic welding, rotomoulding, latest paint finishes etc.
