City-based Robo Sand Promoters set up precast unit in Telangana with Rs 20 cr

Hyderabad-based Robo Sand Promoters on Thursday announced its foray into precast partition wall panels segment through Robomatic Precon Pvt Ltd.

The fully automated state-of-the-art precast partition walls manufacturing plant set up at Lemoor village in Ranga Reddy district with an investment of Rs 20 crore, is the first such production facility in South India and only second in India, company Managing Director Vijay K Kosaraju claimed in a press conference here.

The plant has been imported from Elematic, Finland -leaders in Precast Technology, which has presence in more than 100 countries, he said the 2.4 lakhs sq. Mt capacity new plant will come into commercial operations once the third party certificate was received. The entire manufacturing process is eco-friendly with least pollution.

Robomatic Precast walls are thick hollowcore, nonloadbearing wall elements, he said and claimedthe precast walls are substitute for brickwork and save huge time and money. They are made of normal concrete and are a good alternative to bricks and blocks.

These walls can be used in all kinds of housing applications as internal walls that require thermal and soundinsulation in small, large, high rise buildings and residential villas, he stated the precast walls present tremendous advantage, they save on time and energy.

It facilitates smarter design and aids the builders and architects to expedite the project completion. A wall using this technique can be installed seven times faster than the conventional brick laying work, he informed.

The product will be made available across India and we plan to expand based on the market requirements in other Indian cities in the near future. We are confident to generate a business of around 2.5 lakh square meters, in the very first year of commencement. Our outlook is positive and expect a 50% growth year on year, volume wise, thereafter, he added.
