Turkey crashes courthouse scene Lubbock, Texas | May 20, 2008 12:01:13 AM IST
A wild turkey crashed through a fourth-story window at the Lubbock County Courthouse Monday, scaring people but hurting no one, a local newspaper reported. The Lubbock Avalanche-Journal said county workers in the room initially thought the flying glass was caused by someone shooting at them. The bird was caught, apparently unhurt, and taken out of the building. There was no word on whether it was returned to the wild, the newspaper said. (UPI)
