Haryana govt declares April 2 as bank holiday

Haryana government has declared April 2 (Monday) as bank holiday within the meaning of section 25 Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 for the purpose of annual closing of bank accounts. An official statement here said no public dealing would be done by the banks on Monday. However, all the offices of state government will remain open on April two. A notification to this effect has been issued by Chief Secretary Office today, he added.
