Congress suspends eight leaders on charge of anti party activities

Bihar Congress today suspended eight party leaders for their indiscipline and anti-party activities.

State Congress spokesperson HK Verma said here that Congress working president Kaukab Quadri suspended former state party treasurer Sanjay Sinha, former spokesperson Vinod Kumar Singh Yadav, Suman Kumar Mallik, former secretary Ajit Jha, Uday Sharma, Manoj Upadhaya, former chief of party`s sports cell Rajesh Tiwari and former member of party`s IT cell Jitendra Mishra for their indiscipline and anti-party activities.

Mr Quadri said no leader was above the party saying the suspended leaders were not participating in party`s any programme. He said along with former state Congress president Ashok Choudhary, these leaders were also critical of Congress general secretary CP Joshi during their interaction with mediapersons.

As it is, Mr Choudhary, an MLC along with three other party MLCs had joined JD (U) yesterday. Later, Congress expelled all four MLCs from the party.
