Four people including ground staff of Airport arrested

Four people including ground staff of Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (CSIA) was arrested by Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) on charges smuggling of 135 kg of Agarwood worth Rs 10 lakh here yesterday.

The CISF sources said that agency got suspicious, when luggage of bags of accused persons was wrapped at the security checking counter. On checking the bags of three accused found Agarwood, worth Rs 10 lakh, which was supposed to smuggle to Bangkok via 9W70 flight.

Arrest persons were identified as Hussain Shaikh, Rehan Abdul Karim and Parvati Waghmare (ground staff), sources added.
