A-VIEW to be launched for schools in Maharashtra

Amrita University's indigenously developed e-learning platform A-VIEW (Amrita Virtual Interactive E-Learning World) will be officially launched for schools in Maharashtra.

After successfully deploying at more than 2000 higher educational institutions across the country, Amrita's A-VIEW is making its foray into schools, a press release said today. The A-VIEW launch in schools will happen during Mata Amritanandamayi's two-day program on January 4, 2012 at Amrita Vidyalayam, Nigdi, Pune as part of Amma's Bharat Yatra 2013.

Dr Vijay Bhatkar, eminent computer scientist and the architect of India's first super computer 'Param', Dr. Arun Nigawekar, former UGC Chairman, Shri Indrajeet Deshmukh, Maharashtra Deputy Commissioner for Regional Development, Shridhar Salunke, Maharashtra Director for Secondary Education and Dinkar Patil, Deputy Director, MSCERT will be attending the A-VIEW launch.
