Class X student commits suicide after mom nags him

A tenth standard student allegedly committed suicide following mental depression after his parents constantly nagged him to concentrate on his studies in a bid to score more marks in the public examination. Lokesh, studying in the Kolathur Branch of Don Bosco School in North Chennai, took the extreme step last evening at his house in Peravallur after his mother locked him up in a room and went to pick up his younger sister from the school. When his mother returned, she found Lokesh hanging from the ceiling of the fan. The body was removed to Government hospital for post mortem. Police said constant nagging by parents forced Lokesh to end his life as his mother used to exert pressure on him to concentrate on his studies. UNI GV GM 2028 NNNN
