Haryana Governor Jagannath Pahadia released two books here today, one based on the concept of power of thought and its impact on a persons's life and another, a collection of short poems. The first book entitled 'Vichar Shakti Ka Chamatkar' had been authored by Justice(Retd) Pritampal Singh, Lokayukta of Haryana and the second book entitled 'Sukhad Ehsaas' was penned by poetess Dr. Shashi Kalia. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Pahadia said poets, authors and writers presented an image of the society in their creations that also played a significant role in generating awareness amongst people and upliftment of society. He said creation of a literary work was like worship, the result of which was a blessing for all. About the book of Justice Pritampal Singh, the Governor said it was appreciable how the writer had advised the people, especially the youth, through his writings to always cultivate an elevated thought process and strive for pure ideology. The writer, he pointed out, also asked the readers to remain vigilant about the course of their thinking. Referring to Dr Shashi Kalia as a sensitive poetess, he said poetry unshackled the mind and spoke the language of heart. Applauding the effort of Dr Shashi Kalia, he said she had successfully penned a collection of poems that voiced the feelings of womanhood with compassion and balanced understanding. Justice Pritampal Singh dedicated his book to his father. The book is an anthology of his life experiences as well as those of other great personalities guiding people to adopt a positive outlook on life. Poetess Dr Shashi Kalia is a lecturer in Music(Vocal) in Government College, Panchkula. Her book includes a collection of 96 short poems.
