Keshava Dattatreya Nayak recognised as Distringuished scientist

Keshava Dattatreya Nayak, Chief Controller of Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) (Head Quarters), has been conferred as Distinguished Scientist by the Ministry of Defence for his contributions to Defence Research in India. Dr Nayak, hailing from Uttara Kannada district of Karnataka, had studied in U V College of Engineering here. He did his PhD in Micro Electronics from IIT, Bombay. He started his career as a scientist in 1984 in DRDO at Dehradun. He has contributed significantly for various DRDO micro-electronics applications before taking over as Director of ANURAG, a DRDO lab at Hyderabad, a DRDO release here said today.
