ONGC humble Viva Kerala 1-0

Riding on a solitary goal by Nduibuisi Opara, ONGC humbled Viva Kerala 1-0 in the I-League football match, played at the Chhatrapati Shahu stadium here today. Viva Kerala started on an aggressive note, but failed to hit any goals in the first half. After a goalless first half, both the teams played a defensive game in second half. In the 90th minute, Opara hit the goal on a pass from Peter Odafe and won the match 1-0. It was the third consecutive defeat for Viva Kerala with equal number of outings played here.
