Ex-UP minister Vinod Tiwari, 3 others join Congress

Four people including former Uttar Pradesh minister Vinod Tiwari, today joined the Congress after quitting the BJP and the Samajwadi Party (SP).

UP Congress Committee spokesperson Dwijendra Tripathi said former UP minister Vinod Tiwari, former MLA Rana Krishna Kinker Singh, former MP Kailash Nath Singh and former president of Aligarh Muslim University Z K Faizan accepted the membership of Congress.

All India Congress Committee general secretary Digvijay Singh, UPCC president Rita Bahuguna Joshi and Congress legislature party leader Pramod Tiwari were present on the occasion.
