Former MP Jain passes away

Former MP Vridhi Chand Jain passed away at a hospital in Barmer last night following a brief illness.

The deceased was admitted to hospital two days before where he breathed his last yesterday night.

He was 85.

A two-time MP from Barmer, Jain was also elected to the Rajasthan Assembly twice and had also held the post of Barmer Zila Pramukh.

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has condoled his death and recalled his contribution as an elected people's representative.
