Bahujan Samaj Party (Ambedkar) has today announced its support to the SAD-BJP candidates in the Lok sabha elections following a meeting with the SAD President Sukhbir Singh Badal with the BSP (Ambedkar ) National President Devi Dass Nahar at his residence here on Saturday evening.

Sukhbir Badal after addressing an election rally at Kapurthala on Saturday went to the house of Devi Dass Nahar and both the leaders held a closed door meeting for about fifteen minutes.

Sukhbir Badal sought support of Nahar in the elections. Nahar reportedly demanded few seats in the next assembly elections for BSP(A) candidates which Sukhbir assured to adjust in the assembly elections.

Devi Dass Nahar today held a meeting of the party executive and decided to support the SAD-BJP candidates.

Devi Dass Nahar told media persons that he has directed the party workers to work for the victory of SAD-BJP candidates. He however refused to divulge into the details of his meeting with Sukhbir Badal.

BSP(A) has considerable influence in the Jalandhar, Amritsar, Khadoor Sahib, Ludhiana and Anandpur Sahib constituencies.
