Rumi ka Maqbara declared as conserved monument

Mughal era's Rumi ka Maqbara, the Tomb of Maulana Rumi, built in 17th century in the temple town of Madhya Pradesh, has been declared as monument conserved by the state.

The tomb is situated at Ghattiya Tahsil of this district. Official sources said that objections and claims will be entertained till two months after issuance of the notification.

The tomb was built in honor of Maulana Rumi, a saint, and is famous for its hexagonal architecture.
