Still recovering from a surgery to her right wrist, Indian tennis star Sania Mirza has been forced to pull out the French Open which starts in Paris on May 25. ''I am naturally disappointed at missing the French Open, but there are certain things beyond one's control. I hope to be back on the circuit soon,'' Sania said in a statement here. The talented 21-year-old from Hyderabad underwent surgery on her wrist on April 10 at Florida to repair a capsule tear.

She has been following a rehabilitaton programme with her personal physiotherapist Renuka Pinto after the cast was removed on May 5. Sania is yet to reach the second round in the three times she has played in the French Open.
