Student stranded inside ATM centre

A malfunctioning automated door of a Canara Bank ATM at Saidapet area left a college student stranded inside the glass enclosure for nearly six hours today. According to police, Premnath entered the ATM centre in the morning to withdraw money and got stuck inside due to a technical snag in the automated door. "After getting the complaint, our attempts to open the door with the help of ATM cards failed. Later, we removed the glass frames with the help of fire service personnels and rescued the boy," bank officials said.
