The Delhi government Monday added a fleet of 70 new smaller ambulances that will be able to ferry patients from congested areas.

With the introduction of this fleet, the number of ambulances in the city has increased to 101.

Launching the fleet here, Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit described this as another milestone.

"The capital has moved further in providing quality health services," she said.

Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad appreciated the launch.
