Miscreants lock newly constructed Jagannath temple in Pakistan

Unidentified men locked the newly constructed Jaggannath Temple in Sialkot in Pakistan's Punjab province.

The temple had been constructed in the city's Paris Road are a few months ago with a special grant of 200,000 rupees from Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi.

Jaggannath Temple President Heera Lal said the nameplate of minorities MPA Joseph Hakim Din was also removed the temple wall.

Senior Vice President Sham Lal and Vice President Anand Lal expressed their grave concern over the act and demanded an immediate probe into the incident, the Dawn said in a report. (ANI)
