As many as 13 people were killed and 42 injured in separate road accidents in Pakistan, local media and police said on Thursday.
Around eight people were killed and 32 injured when a passenger bus collided with a truck at the Indus Highway near Makhdoom Bilawal area of Dadu, in southern Sindh province, Senior Superintendent of Police Pervaiz Khan Umrani said.
The passenger bus was en-route to Karachi from Larkana when the incident took place, police official further said.
An investigation has been launched, police added.
The injured were rushed to the local hospital and few were in critical condition, hospital sources said.
In another accident, a jeep carrying students fell into a ditch in Muzaffarabad, the capital city of Pakistan-controlled Kashmir, killing three students on the spot and injuring five others on early Thursday morning, Samaa News reported.
All the injured were rushed to the District Headquarters Hospital, where condition of three students was said to be critical.
In the third incident, two people died and seven injured due to deadly traffic accident in Tando Adam Khan city of Sindh province. The injured were shifted to the nearest hospital,according to local media.
